The Story

Micky isn’t looking for answers.
He’s looking for distance.

From Scotland streets soaked in routine, drink, and distraction to the heat and chaos of Thailand, Only Raising Dust On The Road follows a loose group of characters chasing escape — and discovering that changing scenery doesn’t erase consequences.

Told through multiple perspectives, the story moves fast, driven by voice and momentum rather than neat resolutions. The humour is dark, the situations uncomfortable, and the characters flawed — sometimes funny, sometimes reckless, always human.

This isn’t a redemption story.
It’s about momentum, distraction, and what happens when running becomes a way of life.
